Each tour is 90 minutes long, total walking distance is less than a mile, covered at a very leisurely pace so that you can enjoy the mysterious atmosphere and haunted locations.

Go in search of the spirits of Noah Webster, Jimi Hendrix, Geronimo, Ezra Stiles, Roger Sherman, and other specters that haunt New Haven. Let us see if we can scare you with stories of ghosts, antique sites, ghostly sightings, scandalous tales, haunted places, mysterious sightings of apparitions, strange and unusual tales of centuries past, legendary stories, folk lore and ghostly experiences stranger than reality, and supernatural intrigues of New Haven. Listen to accounts of our guides and participants on tours have had on our saunters. Our tales and legends are blended with bits of human interest and historical fact also making them educational for all ages.

What's included?

90 minute walking ghost tour

Venue

Meeting Location: Outside Starbucks, 1070 Chapel Street. The cross street is High Street. The Yale Center for British Art is nearby. Do not go to any other Starbucks on Chapel Street.

Availability

Tours run Friday and Saturday nights starting at 7:30 pm.

Weather

Barring a massive blizzard that would make walking outdoors legally irresponsible due to safety, tours proceed in all weather. In the event of unsafe weather, tours are rescheduled for another mutually convenient date at no additional charge.

If we do cancel, we will try to let you know at least two hours before via e-mail or phone.

What to bring/wear

Please bring along water or a hydrating beverage to replenish your energy.

Accessibility

The tour is handicap accessible (wheelchair/walker). Someone with trouble walking might have a bit of a hard time, although there are a few places to sit along the way.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel the tour more than one week in advance, you receive a full refund. If you cancel from one week to 48 hours in advance, you receive a 50% refund. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, you can get a credit toward a future tour good for 90 days.

If you as an individual are a no show or you go to the wrong address, you may rebook within 30 days but no refund will be given. This does not apply to vouchers. You cannot reschedule.

Refunds are given on a case by case basis. Requests must be received within 30 days of the tour. Requests within 60 days may receive the offer of a replacement tour.
